Aishwarya Rai looked exquisite in a navy blue and white Armani Privé Spring 2011 strapless gown at the premiere of Sleeping Beauty at 64th Annual Cannes Film Festival at Palais des Festivals on Thursday, May 12, 2011.
Aishwarya, 37, carried off the asymmetrical look of the train gown with aplomb. The sharp contrast of blue and white flattered her curvy figure.
She wore light jewelry: stud earrings and a fancy chunky cuff in her left wrist.
Her hair was styled in an updo, a different look from the previous evening, slicked down on top with a poofy bun at the back.
She wore blue eyeshadow matching her dress color. Golden nails and nude lipgloss rounded her jaw dropping looks.
As part of an international team representing the French cosmetic company, Aishwarya is contractually obligated to wear international designs. Just an FYI for those of you who may have wondered as to why Aishwarya doesn't wear Indian dresses at Cannes.
On May 13 at Cannes, UTV and director Madhur Bhandarkar will formally announce their new film, Heroine, headlining Aishwarya Rai. Let us wait and watch as to what Aishwarya wears on that occasion.
