Kristen Stewart Wins Best Actress Award At Milan
Twilight actress Kristen Stewart has won the best actress award at the Milan Film Festival for her turn as a teen stripper in Welcome to the Rileys,
The 21-year-old who is best known for playing Bella Swan in the vampire franchise, won the trophy for the gritty film, reported Daily Star online.
Stewart trained with a stripper for two months to get her role right and shot her first nude scene for the film.
Her raunchy character swears like a sailor and stashes cash in her underpants.
“My character’s not sultry, not sexy. She sort of throws herself into all her moves. I tore myself up doing it,” said the actress.
Actor Aidan Gillen was named the best actor for his performance in ‘Treacle Jr’ and Nadia Tass walked away with the best director trophy for her drama ‘Matching Jack’.
